Sort by availability in Scheduling Tool

When reviewing a LOT of resources, scrolling through the scheduling tool is current a rough experience. This will improve with the next release that eliminates the horizontal bars in the collapsed mode and having overbooking turned red.

But, under-allocation is just as important as over allocation. A conditional format that allows me to see resources more easily that do have the bandwidth and/or are underutilized is very helpful. Many people process info this way vs. using the planning tool which is not tailored to visual processors.

Another related feature would be sorting the resources based on their likelihood of matching a selected opening. Right now I have to hit the magic wand and go on a scavenger hunt.

Hi - the old Team Builder used to have a neat feature which matched resources based on both roles AND availability. This feature was dropped when the scheduler was introduced. I've very much like both things you have detailed....configurable conditional formatting to highlight under-utilisation as well as over-utilisation would be great, and when matching resources it should put the most available resources for the task's time period at the top of the list.

I agree - this would be a very helpful tool.

As new users of this system we are not familiar with the old way, but this sounds like exactly the solution to a problem we're struggling with.
