Show Time Zone in Date w/Time Custom Field

We have a problem where we ask people to enter start/end dates/times for events to list on a website using custom fields in Workfront. When someone makes a request in a different time zone, Workfront displays the time for the local time zone instead of the actual time that was requested.

Example: Requester in Chicago enters a request for an event that starts at 8 a.m. The worker in Indiana sees that the request says event starts at 9 a.m. Worker enters the event as starting at 9 a.m. Requester says they keep entering the correct time but everything is off by one hour.

So either we need the custom fields date/time to not be time zone dependent, or we need to be able to see the offset.
