We have our templates set up as two different types:
- Project Templates - Here the project itself looks empty but this is where we will set all the sharing permissions, company, resource managers and all projects settings. These could also hold tasks.
- Task Templates - These templates will hold all tasks that need to be completed for the certain product we are delivering and multiples of these can be dropped within a project.
We want to be able to stop people using task templates when creating a project so being able to have just project templates as an option when creating a project and then task templates when attaching a template within a project
