Rich Text in Proof

It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to add rich text formatting within a proof comment. So, for example, if I want to indicate that a sentence of copy needs to be inserted with one underlined word, that formatting can be clearly indicated within the comment.

This should probably be merged with this one: https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSpXAAW/detail They even have the exact same title.

To add to this - we often copy/paste from other sources into the proof. So, if it can retain the formatting from a copy/paste, that would be amazing. Things like superscripting and various other formatting would be extremely helpful in avoiding formatting errors.

This would be huge for our organization. We use a lot of word docs where this is a big issue. It is also a big hinderance because we create a lot of assets in different languages. When it's not accurate to underline or highlight parts of text, especially ones that don't use the latin alphabet, it's extremely difficult for our designers to decipher exactly what needs to change.

We understand the importance of adding rich text capabilities to our proofing comments. This is our roadmap, however, we are currently working on an initiative to better integrate proofing into WF which means we won't be able to work on this for at least the next 12 months.

Is there anything else we can do to move this request up on the product roadmap? This request is frequently brought up by our users as being on the top of their wish list.

I wish there was @Carol, but moving this up in priority would delay the larger Proof initiative we currently have underway. Thank you for asking though. You can learn more about this larger initiative in the next few weeks here: https://one.workfront.com/s/upcoming-product-initiatives.
