Resource Leveling Across Projects and Portfolios

Please provide the ability for resource leveling to take other projects into account. As an enterprise project, program, and portfolio management tool, leveling across projects just makes sense. This is evidenced in the Portfolio Optimizer where we rank projects, which should be ranking resource priority. It should follow that the Leveling functionality takes those ranks into account and levels accordingly based on the ranking.

    Absolutely. This is standard functionality in similar tools such as Liquidplanner and would be a massive (additional) selling point for Workfront.

    If the resource levelling could also (optionally) be allowed to move projects/tasks that are still fluid that would be really useful.

    The model of the Project Plan leading the process which is then satisfied by a near-infinite resource pool doesn't fit our business very well which has a finite resource pool and needs tools that then determine the best way of using that precious resource based on current (and regularly shifting) priorities.
