Resolve Comments in a Locked Stage

We have the same issue and this is a major pain point for our teams. We are hoping Workfront is able to allow the ability to add the same user to multiple stages.

This would be extremely helpful. Reviewer/Approvers need the ability to reply to comments or provide additional feedback after a stage is locked. 

This idea is fairly old at this point but it doesn't seem like Adobe has come up with a solution. It would be great if we could just limit NEW comments being added to a proof while maintaining the ability to reply to comments and resolve comments even when one is in a locked stage. While the ability to add users to multiple stages would be useful, it would not solve for all our use-cases. Sometimes we want certain team members to really not be able to add more comments, but other users down the workflow will have questions regarding their comments that the original commenter needs to respond to - preferably within the system.

Example:

<<Proofing a t-shirt guide.>>

Merchant comment: "This t-shirt will be discontinued and should be removed."

<<Proof is locked so Design/Production can begin executing on comments w/o further notes being added>>

Designer reply to Merchant comment: "Can we replace the shirt? How about the v-neck version instead?"

<<Merchant needs to be able to respond to this reply to give direction on product selection but now they can't because they're locked out>>
