Report on custom field permissions and sharing

Description - While we have the ability to adjust field sharing and access, we apparently can't report on it like we can with other objects.

Why is this feature important to you - Reporting on object sharing is essential to system administration governance and maintenance, especially when conducting an operational change like reimagining how fields are managed.

How would you like the feature to work - Similar to other objects (like custom forms), add a Shared with as a reportable field for custom fields.

Current behaviour - To overcome the absence of a Shared with field, I have to click into each field—thousands of fields!—to view these settings.

Hello, have you considered adding 'Shared With' in your View while in the custom forms/fields pages? I have this in my view to always see who a form (or dashboard, report, etc.) is shared with - very helpful!

If this helped you, please mark correct to help others : )

@madalyn_destafney I have the field in a view for forms, but it is not an option for fields. Either I'm incredibly blind, the field is titled something unconventional, or it's not there.

Ah, I get it. For the Fields page, I use 'Parameter > Forms' as a column in that page's view to see which custom forms the field is in. Is that what you're after?

No, although I definitely find that field useful. I'm looking to analyze access to fields. My goal is to devise a stricter governance on who can edit the back-end of fields so we can maintain taxonomy and data integrity.
