Relating/ Associating Requests in Workfront Queues

Description - Our team would like the ability to relate/link/associate issue/request to another request/issue.  We currently have requests in our queues which are assigned to teams, but as some come through as issues and others requests, the teams are finding it difficult to see all requests in one view. Our team have a requirement to link requests so that ad-hoc work coming into our work queues can be grouped together, without creating a project.

Why is this feature important to you - We had this feature with our previous in-house tool and it was a simple way of connecting queue requests so that teammates had visibility to related tasks/activity so it could be assigned to one person to action at the same time, makng the workflow more efficient.

How would you like the feature to work - Requests process: create an additional field that enables a user to input a request ID that is associated with the new request. Ability to add at the point a request is raised or add in once submitted. Tickets could be related by ID's or tags. I have attached a screenshot as an example. 

Current Behaviour - There isn't currently a way to relate/link requests in this way.
