If an uploaded PDF already has annotations tied to it, the desire is for the system to recognize those as comments and have them automatically added

yes, this would be a huge help as our client sends there edits in PDF and we have to manually transfer them over to be Workfront compatible which can lead to human error.

This is essentially the same as the request from 2017 to incorporate the contents of sticky notes. Very necessary in our workflow.

I agree that this would be a big help. I wish Workfront would combine the votes of this suggestion and the one Bernard linked to because combined they eclipse the 450 points threshold.

Is there anything on the horizon to revisit this now that WF is an Adobe company?

Agree, we would also like for comments made in the PDF to show when PDF is turned into a Proof.

This would save users a large amount of time. And now that Adobe owns the tool...perhaps something which can be nudged forward?

Would this also eventually be added so that an editor can turn the annotations on and off so that the PDF does not need to be duplicated so that one page has the annos while the other does not.
