Notification to Issue Submitter that Issue is Closed

Right now, when someone submits an issue, they do not receive a notification when the issue is closed. The person working on the issue that closes the issue gets a notification, but the person who submitted it does not. This is un-intuitive, notifying the party that already knows the issue was closed.

This works differently for requests, where the requester will still receive notification when it is closed. Issue functionality should mirror requests.

Hi Mike - I think we had to actively turn this on at the system level before it showed up in User Notification drop downs lists. Hopefully this is what you are looking for!
