New Home: Allow admin the ability to hide widgets for features the team is not using

Description - Allow Admins the ability to hide widgets that are not used by your teams/organization

Why is this feature important to you - This would allow users to only pick and use widgets that the admin would like them to have available. Also, this would make it easier for training purposes to not have to explain and reiterate to users to not use certain widget types. This would simplify the experience for users and the admin to manage.

How would you like the feature to work - Allow option for the admin to hide certain widgets in the layout template settings

Current Behaviour - Does not exist; Users see all the widget types that are available

Admins should have the ability to show or hide anything and everything in the entire system according to their policies and procedures.

A system admin should be able to control which widgets are available.  For instance, from an ERP standpoint we cannot have people adding personal tasks and logging time against them in the ToDo widget.  It's just one more thing we'll need to actively monitor.

This homepage should not be forced on accounts until there is full sys admin control over the interface; this release, as it is now, will sow absolute chaos at my organization if we don't have control like this over the layout.

Agree that system admins should have the ability to determine which Widgets are available to users in the New Home. If a particular Widget/process is not used by an organization (e.g., "Awaiting My Approval" widget), then system administrators should be able to hide that Widget. As it stands now, the Widget will appear in the available area for a user to choose, which a) causes clutter, b) necessitates additional training on the part of system admin to tell users to ignore that Widget, and c) creates unnecessary confusion. All of this would be avoided if system admins had ability to hide 'not applicable' Widgets in the first place. Workfront should not assume all organizations use all Widgets.
