Need customizable views (Currently only Month, Week & Gantt) in Calendar

When I go to Home --> Calendars, I see 3 options in "View" = Month, Week & Gantt. Is there a way we could show "Year"? or be able to customize dates ? like use text mode expressions maybe, Date = Between = $$Today AND Todayb-1Y

    This would be very beneficial for my organization. Our timelines span over several years, so a month-by-month view is not helpful. The Gantt chart would be much more useful if we could extend the timeframe, similar to the Gantt chart on a project view.
