My Team Requests

AWESOME IDEA!!

Great idea, many users have issues seeing the team requests at the bottom of Work Requests and these tend to sit around.

We have also figured out that you can mark the team requests page as a favorite and then utilize the star/favorites link to go directly to the team requests page.

Melissa made a great suggestion.

The feedback from our team was that team tasks and requests are not easily visible and will get overlooked. They really did not like the fact that there is not a single view that shows ALL of the work that has been requested of them and their team(s), in addition to ALL of the work to which they are already committed.

In response to this, I made a new dashboard called "Incoming Work & Committed Work", and added the dashboard to everyone's Projects landing page (in a tab called "Pending Work"). It includes five reports:

• My Incoming Ad Hoc Tasks (Work requested of me by other users, but not yet accepted)
• My Incoming Requests (Requests routed to me by a queue, but not yet accepted)
• Project Tasks Assigned to Me (Incomplete tasks assigned to me)
• Tasks Assigned to My Teams (Incomplete tasks assigned My Teams, grouped by Team)
• Requests Assigned to My Teams (Requests made to My Teams, grouped by Team)

The above works, but is not a very compact view and gets pretty messy if the user belongs to many teams (even with the grouping applied.)

I think in general, the My Work landing page needs to be re-thought so it can better display all of a user's pending work without them having to navigate through multiple landing pages and tabs.

We've noticed this is an issue with usability that is impacting our end-user adoption of Workfront.

This is a must for task visibility. The link to view team requests is way too small and can easily result in items slipping through the cracks.

Id also like to add the ability to customize teh team requests area, like my work, so we can show Planned hours that the task will take.

Having Team requests as a fourth tab would really improve adoption in our company. Everyone is asking for it, particularly since we are trying to implement assigning tasks to "TEams" vs people.

My Team Requests would be helpful to us as well. A lot of the suggestions above would help us out with some of the adoption issues and complaints we've had.

We also need a way to customize the My Requests section. Our turn times are very fast, we need to be able to show our requestor/reviewers the due time as well as the due date.

Workfront will add a new Team view in Workfront Home, but we will not continue to add features to My Work.
