Mark individual notifications as read

On the Notifications Page, it would be very nice to be able to mark messages as "seen" without having to go into the project or "mark all as seen." 
Users are often included on notifications as FYI and don't need to go into the project when they have read all the information they need in notifications. 

This is tantamount to being required to open a message in Outlook versus reading it in the preview pane in order to clear your inbox.

Hi David,

In case this would suffice…

I usually click the notifications badge on the top menu (eg 6 unread), read an entry, and click the (subtle) dot to the left of the message, thereby marking (only) it as “read”, removing it from the list, and automatically advancing to the next item (eg 5 unread). Rinse and repeat until all items are read.
