It would be good to have a option to make it mandatory for a user to log time to a task before than can mark it as complete.

Nice option if added.

Agreed.

This seems like such an easy feature to implement!

Is there going to be an official response to this as to why it's not planned?

Please. Can someone from WF respond? It would be great to have this function in progress.

Also a challenge, since there is no way to register logtime by a project manager for reviewer license users. If they are more than one inside a task. Need some option for the same.

It has been two year, is this coming? Why anyone would not want time reporting to not be mandatory is unclear to me.

I actually disagree that this should be required. There was so much push back from the teams I worked with about logging time (optionally) that requiring it would result in people not using the system. And the one team that did log time no longer does so because they no longer charge back. I hope this is an optional setting at most.

Jazmin- i would disagree, why would it not be valuable to know how long a task took? that data can be used to understand the true cost of the project for the organization as well as help in future project planning with a similar task, etc.

Derek, I'm in total agreement that the information would be helpful. I was the one asking people to log their time before. It went over horribly. So I just don't want to end up with a required setting and have people go back to hating Workfront. It's been a multi-year uphill battle to get people onboard with Workfront.
