Log time for approvals

Some of our users mainly use Workfront to manage approvals, but there is no where to log the time directly on the approval. It would be great if when a user completes an approval, the approval appears as a row in their timesheet - like it would if the user had 'worked on' or 'completed' a task.

In addition - it would be great if there could be a log time button when someone is completing an approval.

    Hello,

    I did recently learn that the project manager/planner can share the task that the approval is built on giving the approver "contribute" rights but you need to make sure "log time" box is clicked when you do give those contribute rights. That does allow the approver to log time in that task with the approval built into it. Thanks,
