Link Proof and Task approvals

It is nice that you can set an approval workflow on tasks to prevent it from being completed without approval. It would be great if the same behavior were true when working with proofs. We should be able to set a task approval to be dependent on the Proof approval.

This would literally change the way my organization uses Workfront in the best way. Right now we try to use task approvals but since it's dependent on a proof approval the person ends up having to approve in both places and it gets really clunky. If you could say this task is complete once this proof is approved by XYZ, that would eliminate the need for us to have separate review tasks and maybe even eliminate the stages tasks as well...

This would be great! It would also be nice once the proof is approved if the task %Complete would automatically fill in.

PLEASE consider this update. Our proofs are an integral part of our workflow and this disconnection results in A LOT of manual review on my project managers. This is probably one of our biggest pain points in tracking the accurate status of our projects.

Related but not the same thing would be the ability to link back to the task from the Proof, especially after you get a Proof Approval email, link to the proof, and have no way to easily figure out which project/task the proof is related to.

I 1000% agree. Would love for this functionality. We also have to have dual management of a proof + a task to ensure we are compliant with reviews/approvals.

This would be a great feature!

This would be a major improvement for those of us who use BOTH Workfront AND Workfront Proof. Users should NOT be change a task to complete unless all stages on the proof are approved. I run into this issue all the time.

This would be monumentally helpful. Rejecting a proof for the sake of documentation doesn't help with actionable items (like changes to the proof). The proofs need to be better tied to tasks/project workflows.

This would really decrease the workload of my workers and help with user adoption and UX. My workers *never* remember to go in and update the task to complete when the proof approval is complete.
