Immediately calculate custom fields

In a custom form you have to wait for a save operation for a calculated field to calculate. However if the calculated field is in a list view the calculation happens immediately. I would like to see the calculated field calculate immediatley while in the custom form.

We have several custom forms that would benefit from this functionality. I am currently working on a form where the user must enter values in several fields that exceed a certain number. I have a calculated field that totals the entries and returns "Check!" if the values do not meet tolerance. However, this can only be seen after the user submits the form. It would be great if the user can see that before they submit. Would save a step of me having to review and kick it back.

In addition to calculating custom fields prior to submitting the form, we'd like fields to calculate based on the queue topics/topic groups/parent topic groups, or even other project-level data.

Even better if the custom fields in the form could filter and/or have logic settings based on the queue topics/topic groups/parent topic groups. Our current workaround is to duplicate the issue path as custom form fields, in order to use display logic. Unfortunately, our requestors find this redundant and confusing.
