Much to our dismay, when exporting the PDF with the comments from Workfront Proof, the PDF itself is reduced to a fairly low-res thumbnail which is basically useless. This makes it very difficult to tell WHERE the corrections are, and means we have to have this ugly solution of "download the PDF for the checklist and clear comments, but go back into Proof to see where they actually are."
Since we deal in larger images (packaging mechanicals), we need the PDF to be a take-away to look at large format prints in many case. Even if were weren't, that low-res thumbnail isn't worth much as a reference when even a couple comments are on there, much less the more typical dozen or more.
