Gantt Chart improvement - Key Tasks

A suggestion from a user: Gantt chart view is nicely implemented to zoom in and out all the way from a day view to a number of years. However, we sorely lack the ability to flexibly select key tasks or milestones in a project and display them for management meetings. For example, the Timeline view in MS project is very helpful to easily select and display certain important tasks.

    We tag tasks for specific things like "Client Facing", "Hard Deadline", etc. Then we have filters to show only those tasks, we can then send a good client facing Gantt chart to our clients by filtering for only the tasks we wnt the client to see.

    Hi @gunaymusayeva,

     

    I invite you to consider our Roadmap solution which allows you to filter by Project and/or Task to display a (good client facing) Gantt Chart.

     

    Alternatively, our Swimlane Report solution might also be of use, as it supports tagging and retrieval of Projects, Tasks, and/or Issues, all in a single report (albeit "grid" based, rather than Gantt format).
