Feature Deprecation: Copy / Paste Image

There is no way Workfront can possibly spin this as an enhancement to Workfront, claiming this makes "adding documents to Workfront more streamlined and intuitive" ...

We use "copy and paste" all the time in the office for screenshots, and now we have to paste the screenshot into a document, then save that document, then upload to Workfront.

This does not streamline the process.

Just the opposite.

Please bring back the ability to simply copy and paste a screenshot as soon as you possibly can!

ALL:

A lot has happened in this last month! I have been in touch with the management Team at Workfront and - great news!- they have agreed to bring the copy/paste functionality back! The challenging part, though, is they claim they can only bring it back during the next "Release" in March 2018.

I'm thinking if we speak up just a bit more, they may determine it's a true priority and bring it back sooner.

    COMPLETELY agree. My team used "copy and paste" every day and now they have to do more work to accomplish the same thing. Please return the functionality you took away!! Thanks. Mary

    Absolutely agree. I opened ticket about that with support and I was explained that this is "more streamlined and intuitive" improvement. Ticket closed. Complete nonsense.

    We need to get more votes to get the functionality back.

    This function was used by most of us at my institution. It would be great to see it come back.

    My team as well as outside users that use our product also suffer from this change. We have to re-train our users who are less technically savvy.

    This was the response from the supportdesk when we discovered that copy from clipboard is gone.

    "As it was announced beforehand, document copy-pasting feature has been deprecated.
    The decision is made by the Product Team to make the overall process of adding documents to     Workfront more streamlined and intuitive."

    Can you please return this feature, our company used this feature often.

    PLEASE turn this back on! File and screen shot exchange is normal, daily work with development teams. It slows our team collaboration significantly to have to save first to post to WF or, worse, use email.

    If anyone ever tells you your voice doesn't matter, don't you dare believe them!!!

    Paste a Screenshot functionality being re-introduced with this next release, due sometime in Q 1! If I had to guess, I'd say later in the Q, probably mid-March.
