Expand the hot zone around check boxes

I know you guys are working on some new UI's for lists. Can you please expand the hot zone around the check boxes. If you are just a little off from the box, it deselects everything you had checked before.

Either this, or change the logic so that if you miss clicking inside the box, it doesn't select the new line at all, and it leaves everything you already checked as it is.

Our team is getting frustrated when they have 85 very specific check boxes selected on a project and accidentally click in the margin. They all disappear. I am in favor of both expanding the hot zone and changing the logic.

I agree. I had submitted a similar idea suggestion too, but Anthony's appears to be gaining more traction. I see a lot of our users struggle with it.

I concur. This drives me nuts.

I upvoted, but I did want to share that if you want to select multiple rows all you have to do is hold down control as you click. Then each row can be bulk edited.

I agree - this causes frustration for our users also.

Agreed. We are just now piloting and I can already foresee this becoming an even larger issue down the road.

Hello, Workfronters,

Thanks for bringing this forward and voting for this. We continue work on improving the list interactions, and will keep this request on our radar to make sure we provide best possible experience for our users. More updates to follow.

Thanks!

I use CTRL + click to avoid this issue.

Any updates on this - maybe R2-2018 :-)

this actually hurts new users - as in provides a vocal reason as to why they don't like the tool. As small as it is (no pun intended) this selection process is used often.
