Email Template for New User to User notification

Currently, when a user is created you can send an invitation. This is OK, but doesn't give enough information for most new users. It would be great to be able to create a custom email in the EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS area that could be used there. This could provide information such as training links (internal as well as WF), who/how to contact for support, and single sign-on information that may be needed (adding WF to OKTA, for example). This would be a huge time save. Many admins need to send a separate email currently with all that info.

GREAT idea, Marty! I'd like to be able to create a custom email with rich text, images, etc. which we can send to new users!

I fully support this idea! We also would like more options to customize the "welcome" email to new users.

¬∑ In today's option, the window to enter the text is rather small‚Ķ it’s difficult to see/follow the text you are writing.

· The user receives the text completely unformatted.

· There is no option to format text or insert hyperlinks. E.g. we would like to add a link to the Training Registration Guide we have created and which is available on our Intranet.

Changing the current options would be great, as most companies are using SSO, rather than the native login. Currently there are no user-friendly options we can utilise to send welcome emails to new users, when the customer uses SSO.

Sending the welcome email to new SSO users is confusing, because the button will lead them to the creation of a new password. The next time the user wants to use Workfront, they will be automatically redirected to the SSO provider's login and the newly created password (for the native login) won't be working here. This is very confusing for every new user of Workfront.
