Edit Permissions for Boards

Description - Need to have ability to restrict certain features on Boards for users. Right now, anyone with Board access can do any type of configuration (Add/Remove columns, update Custom Fields on Cards, configure card settings, *ADD SUBTASKS - even though their access level will not allow adding/deleting tasks!, etc). This is a big concern with clients as most users will just need access to move cards through columns/status's.

Why is this feature important to you - This will allow teams to be able to utilize a proper agile board experience without fear of users completely messing up how they are set up and functioning

How would you like the feature to work - This would be a setting at the access level (or the board itself) to restrict permission to "Editing/Configure". There would almost be another access level to just allow users to move cards through status, update fields, make comments, etc, but NOT allow them to configure columns, card configurations, ADDING SUBTASKS.

Current Behavior - Anyone who the board is shared with has ALL Access to configure anything on the board.

Are there any plans to address the boards permission issue? I totally agree with the post. We will be using boards with connected projects soon in my organization. I assumed that the user project/task/issue permissions applied to boards, but I didn't find that to be the case in my testing. Board users, with any project permission level, can easily change project task status and assign users to tasks in boards, even if the board user doesn't have permission to do that in projects.
