Don't want to have to mark a task as ready

Our web team uses the agile functionality in Workfront therefore they do not use the My Work area. In order to know what tasks to work on they depend on those tasks be marked as ready. Is there a way to set up the functionality so when a predecessor of a task is marked complete the status of the next task auto changes to ready?
