Document Sharing Hierarchy - From Tasks into Projects, Projects into Portfolios

Much like how you can see documents added to tasks at the project level, we need this ability at a Portfolio level. There should be an option where the documents can ladder up to the Portfolio, where files added to tasks or projects can be seen at the Portfolio level.

Documents just need to ladder up - or at least have the option to enable or disable this ability.

We've found ourselves with a significant amount of orphaned files, and at our organization is being seen as a large limitation of the platform.

Please help us!

I like this idea but I would need some control over it. Maybe each object level makes it's own folder. As someone who has THOUSANDS of projects in a Portfolio, it would be impossible to find anything at the Portfolio level. At the Program level it's a lot less but even still if we have a big campaign with lots of creative assets (photos, emails, social, graphics, videos) that could also get messy. If however when I open a Program I see a folder for each project (same name as project) then I wouldn't mind that at all; because it begins to mimic a server structure
