Date range prompt

Currently if you add a prompt for a date range to a report and chose the this year option the criteria defaults to $$TODAYby and $$TODAY which only provides year to date. My request is to update the criteria to reflect the entire year and the defaults should be $$TODAYby and $$TODAYey. This quarter, this month and this week criteria follow this same logic for the entire period not to date period. If a YTD option is necessary then it should be titled as such.
