While the "Issue" status list is visible and available in the Group "Settings" for custom modifications, you cannot "Hide" request statuses from requesters like you can for Task and Project statuses.
We want to enable a "Rejected" request workflow wherein the original Primary Contact would have access to the Status field after making a request so that they can change their request's status back to "New" after having made adjustments and corrections to their request so that it re-triggers the request's Approval Path. We don't want the Primary Contact to be able to close the request or select other statuses, only "New". We would also prefer to have the option to not have the Status field visible on the form when the requester submits their request, only after the request has been "Rejected".
Anyone else want to be able to customize the status list and request queue controls for requesters/reviewers? Aside from this "Rejected Request" workflow an "On-Hold" workflow would also be enabled by this, allowing the requester to set their request into "On-Hold" or "Private" status upon submission so that the request does not appear on the request-handler's custom dashboard (or Home page) until the Primary Contact has completed filling out the custom form and decides to change the status to "New" to trigger the approval path.
