Customer satisfaction survey or feedback Custom form as an Inbuilt offering in Workfront

Description - In Moment Customer satisfaction survey or feedback Custom form as an Inbuilt offering in Workfront would be good. A STAR rating or Grading based survey on set parameter that can be customised.

This form could be used after a issue/project is closed to be filled by the Requestor.

Why is this feature important to you - Feedback is important part of improving our processes and best done when fresh in memory and need not be sent as separately as EMAIL.

How would you like the feature to work - Survey form / popup should come up when the user logs in to WF if one of his projects / issue has been closed upon completion. The survey form should be an inbuilt custom form that can be modified as necessary. A very simple star based rating for gauging user satisfaction.

Current Behaviour - None available

Collecting stakeholder feedback is a standard part of project closure and one our company takes seriously. While stand alone tools exist, we would like to have the metric tied to our Workfront projects.

I've explored using a custom form or some other way to collect feedback, but we need to be able to still collect it even once a project status is marked completed. In fact, that would be the point in time we'd want to kick off a short survey. Simply a Satisfaction scale with a comment box would do. Better yet, allow us to create a standard one by team/company, etc. that we can apply to our projects. We could then send to a list of stakeholders, even if not all are in the Workfront project. So it should allow us to add emails even if the person isn't in Workfront.

We should be able to pull the quantitative data into reports so that the scores could be looked at by project, by team, by group, etc.

Every time I call into Workfront Customer Support, I receive a survey from them. I called to ask what they used and they told me it wasn't integrated with Workfront, but the product is from Nicereply.com. They are a company out of Bratislava Slovakia.

Wouldn't it be nice if Workfront had build in mechanism for gathering feedback on tasks, projects, issues?

What I'm thinking of is something like "feeback survey" that would be sent to "primary contact" (or someon else specified) once given object is marked as completed.

I recently researched Idea lab and found couple relevant ideas. They have been combined into this one

https://one.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSmwAAG/detail

If you consider this relevant addition to the tool, please upvote.

Alternatively, how do you deal with feedback loop in your WF instance, I would love to learn more about this.

In our instance we build custom mechanism for feedback using Fusion, but it has couple of disadvantages so I would like to explore other available options.

We send out a survey using one of the many survey tools out there. We don't send the survey for EVERY completed project since some project sponsors would get multiple surveys per week and that could be annoying to them. So we choose the ones we feel have the most importance.

We also send the survey via an email where we're able to code a response to a couple of questions on the survey into the survey link... such as project ID and project actual completion date. This has allowed us to gather that survey feedback and kick-start the responses back onto a task at the end of the project (having that project's actual completion date lets us set the task completion date to that same date and doesn't push out the project's timeline).

At the time we started doing this, we didn't have Fusion, so the kick-start to create a new task on the project was the best option we had. I've since created a Fusion scenario to allow me to upload the survey results to a separate project and Fusion creates the task on the appropriate projects.

If I were starting from scratch and already had Fusion, I would have put the survey results onto a custom form on the project.

Hi @Heather_Kulbacki , curious about this. What survey tool are you using? And you can have Fusion append the survey answers to a custom form in the respective project/task?

Hi @Madalyn_Destafney this was with my prior company and I can't remember which survey tool we were using. We talked about using Fusion to write the responses to a custom form but did not get that far before I left.
