Custom Fields - Ability to Restrict who Can Fill Out Certain Field

It would be helpful if (when setting up custom fields) to have the ability to restrict the fields to only being able to edit them for certain users. We want certain fields to be viewable for everyone, but we would only want certain users/roles to be able to edit the information in the field.

    And this needs to be user name, role, team or group. So the financial auditors are the only one that can edit one set of fields, but the Network manager is the only one who can edit the subnet fields.
