Users outside our division (Requester Group) make requests for work to users inside our division (DCM Group) through the API using an external form on our website. The requester has a user created for them inside Workfront, and then the request attributed to them. For 90% of our users they will never log in to Workfront and the user only exists to send them email notifications on request submission, status updates, and request resolution.
We'd like to be able to create custom email templates for requests made by these users that we can change at least what information is provided. Things like who is going to provide an approval decision, or where the request might be assigned tend to create some issues.
I'm thinking the ability to provide basic formatting in HTML with Mail Merge type fields. I.E.: <<Issue: name>> to display the name of the resulting issue created from a request.
