Correct the Report "prompt' functionality so that the prompt looks at the Report filters

When using a report prompt, we need the prompt options to only show what our report filter is set up to include.

Business Case:

I have a report that only pulls ACTIVE portfolios. I added a prompt for the "Portfolio" and added the report to an Executive Dashboard, so my Execs could drill into a specific portfolio.

BUT the report prompt on the dashboard is showing active AND inactive portfolios. So, even though my report filter is for ACTIVE portfolios, a report prompt will not look at that filter. Workfront Help Desk has relayed that this is how the system is configured - prompts will not look at report filters.

Great idea.

I did a search on this request. On the first page of the search results, I found at least 2 other requests; there are probably more if one goes through all of the search results. I think there needs to be some way to find and consolidate all of these requests and their associated vote count.

I would like to see this as an option. Each prompt should have an A/B toggle. A = honor report filter (would operate as you describe) B = override report filter (could actually return inactive portfolios in your example).
