Column Width Too Wide When Opening Report on Smaller Display

I work off of two monitors. One is larger than the other. I find that when I've viewed a report on my large monitor then open it later on my smaller monitor, the columns are going way over to the right, past even the header of the report itself? This is also happening with my Projects I Own Screen. It's difficult when I take my laptop somewhere to work (unplug and go into a meeting), then have to scroll over to see the columns to the right.
