With a move to the enterprise level, more and more projects are cross-matrix-ed with different groups wanting to maintain autonomy of project control, but with a need for their project status to be reflected on the task from the originating project.

This would be highly valued, even if to date, it has not been articulated.

It would be great to see the project % complete and status reflected in the task. The task remains on the project, instead of falling off, so that whoever is managing the overall process can easily see where the sub-projects are.

This would be a valuable feature for many of the large projects that I currently manage. Hoping that others agree!

Similar problem managing programs.... This would be a faster way to manage cross-project dependencies. Good idea.
