[CLOSED] - Team View of Time-Off Calendar (for PTO)

I've had this same request from my users. It's something we want to be able to share among a project team when planning deployment and other key project activities.

This would be extremely helpful. You can pull the data into a report, but it is not very easy to follow... If someone has a lot of time off planned, it all shows up in one field on the report. The dates are not even in order!

I've done that too, but realized that it's way too hard to read. It seems like a Calendar overlap would be so much simpler...

Yes, being able to show time off in a calendar would be extremely useful, especially for project managers. The report sample is not very appealing to the eye and would be so much more valuable if displayed in a calendar view that could be printed and shared! We are really hoping to see a lot of improvements in Calendar Feature of the tool, especially since our PMs are seeing it as the missing link to help facilitate team meetings and eliminate the headaches associated with maintaining an off-line version of the project calendar outside of the tool.

This would be very helpful to us. I also created the time off report that Lisa Schliker has shown above. This is the data we need to show on a gantt view, and it would be ideal if we could use a view to show by job role so we would know who is available from a job role, etc. The business problem we are trying to solve is to document and share time that you are not available. Another way to think about this is that it could be used as an on call list for Supervisors and Managers that are looking for available resources during the holidays or in a pinch.
