Provide Tool / Capability to Bulk Edit database records based on record ID to Migrate data, update in Bulk via API. Similar to Kick Start but for updating data rather than creating new.

I've written a rather rough method for doing this with Excel but having a supported and polished tool for this would be very helpful.

I can't believe this functionality doesn't already exist! Would be very helpful.

Can't you do this through the UI?

For example go into Projects, check mark a few of them, and then click the edit button to edit all of them at the same time.

Yes! We need this tool as well.

This would be benefical to us too, I have just manually updated 550 existing user profiles with an amended custom form which needed 2 new fields completed and cannot believe there is no functionality to do this as a load already in the system

Was really surprised this wasn't here already. Want to be able to create a file with an ID field and a filed to update name and then update data that is in the system en masse. Can only use bulk update in the tool if the value you want to update is the same for each user whereas when we add a new custom field may have 10's or even hundreds of different values for in flight projects.

Seeing that this is over a year old, has anyone found a different way to bulk edit users? I upvoted, but....

Eric, I don't think there is a way to do this through the UI. I've had to do it using the API.

This is critical functionality for admins to meet the increasing needs to store more data in WF across objects while reducing hours (days) our users or admin team take to manually update hundreds of projects across multiple fields. Salesforce has very similar functionality to append different objects. At an enterprise level, this feature is expected.
