Broaden Date Range of Scheduling Tool

In our organization, we have projects that last anywhere from 30 - 150 days. The Scheduling Tool would be helpful, but it only populates tasks for 2 weeks at a time. Is there a way to populate a full project so Project Owners/Resource Managers can assign resources seamlessly?

Also, it would be helpful if you didn't have to assign a Resource Manager in order to use the Scheduling Tool. In our world, we have an Analyst that assigns resources into the timeline and it's not always a user's manager or the Project Manager.

Hi Matt, with the 17.3 release we added extended date ranges to the resource scheduling tools. You can now choose from a single day up to six weeks, which provides a much broader view of the project resources and allocation.

Hi everyone,

As we have announced the deprecation of Resource Scheduling, we have added those capabilities to Workload Balancer solution. Find more about that here: Link
