Attach documents to expenses

This would allow a user to upload a document such as a PDF invoice to be linked to an expense helping to maintain accurate records, as well as allow Finance use expenses as legitimate places to start invoice payments. We will also use this as part of an integration with Open Invoice where the creation of an expense with a linked PDF will create an Open Invoice entry.

Agreed, the ability to attach an invoice to an expense would be very helpful.

In addition to adding the receipt, we also want the ability to send the receipt via the API to our accounting/invoicing software so that it can be included with the invoice to the client as backup for expenses.

Has there been any update on this? It looks like it has been a few years and there are no resolutions listed. However, it appears the status is set to "investigating" so I would love if this was in the works. We're in the process of improving our expense processes, so this will be perfect timing if it is coming soon.
