Allow reporting against Assignment Users when more than 1 is assigned to an Object

If there are multiple assignees on an object, I want to be able to report against each one's individual status. Right now all I can do is report out what each one's status is. I want to report which ones that not marked their part as Done.

I want to tie an assignee to an update. I want to interrogate EACH assignee... 1) did they mark their part as done (and when), 2) if they did, did they enter an update (and I want to "see" that update on the report). 3) I want to be able to tie Last Update to one of multiple assignees.

So I could report on EACH assignee: 1) who did not mark done with my part, 2) who marked done with my part but did not enter an update along with it, 3) object status is closed/complete, but not all assignees have marked their part as done and/or entered an update.

BUT...in reality, when there are multiple assignees, no object should be able to be closed/complete if all assignees have not marked done with

I thought my not being able to do this was a lack of skill on my part - not knowing this is a limitation or lack of functionality.
