Allow Option for Out of Office Delegate to be automatically assigned to tasks

Our project managers have the challenge of managing projects that span 60 days out. When someone on the project is out of office the tasks automatically accounts for the time off and there is an impact to the remaining timeline. We would like the option to allow for delegates to be automatically assigned as a 2nd person to that task so that project timelines are not impacted.
