There needs to be a view within the Documents tab in each project that allows you to see all proofs in a project without their folder segmentation as an option. For the compare proofs option, it seems to only work if you are viewing two proofs within the same folder against one another, but we often have instances where proofs are in separate folders but need to be compared due to re-pagination.
Because of how many circular ad pages/versions we have and how disorganized the documents area gets, we segment folders by pages, but we might need to compare something that moved from page 2 to page 5 between versions, but now the v1 page 2 is stored in page 5 as a v2, so we cannot compare these two proofs like we should. Also if we have a large Signage project we might segment the folders by vendor to keep straight what goes to which vendor, but when proofing Signage Philosophy to make sure all are in line with our brand, we might want to look at the footwear table for vendor x against the footwear table for vendor y and make sure these look nice next to each other and then comment accordingly, but we cannot do so when they are in separate folders.
