Add'l View/Edit Settings on a Custom Form

When field = section, there are 2 fields available to set the access to that section. One is to VIEW the section, and the other is to EDIT the section. The options are: those that can view, those that can contribute, those that can manage, admin only. While those are nice, they are not sufficient in many cases. I want to be able to assign VIEW and EDIT rights based on things like: group, team, role.

Yes, we need this functionality. For example, we want only certain managers to see a section of a form.

This is a great suggestion. It would be great if there was more flexibility here. For example, on the project custom form, we may have a section that should be editable to the senior management only. Other users should be able to view the section, but should not be able to edit it. If the edit access can be restricted by group, job role or team, it will provide a much greater flexibility.

This item would be super helpful. Limiting editing sections of a custom form based on groups/teams/job roles. This would be helpful as we sometimes have groups like Finance that need to fill in sections of a custom form, that we don't want the PM to be able to update only view. But, we end up having to give the Finance group Admin access to Workfront and they have total access to the system, which isn't correct either. This was a use case at a few of the customers I support.
