Ability to have a Project 'Team', that we can tag with updates

We would like to be able to quickly "tag" our designated project team on big updates, status updates, key meetings, etc... We'd like to do this in the project update area, task area or on a custom field. Currently we can find no way to do this except to manually type in every single name & then there is great risk to missing someone. It is still easier to do this in our email system, where we can create a email group - but we really want our staff to use Workfront for these updates.

Hi Marie - it is currently possible to do this under the Staffing tab of each project, on the People sub-tab. There is an "Update All" button.

However, I agree with you and reckon it would be good for Workfront to make this button available on the main Project and Task Updates tabs.

I agree. Ability to tag a team instead of just individuals would be great

You can add teams under the Staffing option. See below.

I like this idea, which is more subtle than the Team functionality. Regular teams come with issues with notifications, especially if you end up on multiple teams. The way I'm reading this, it's sort of a temporary team, just for the life of a project. I agree with David that the button should be out front.

I just had a user tell me he wants to have this functionality today. We would love to have the option to be able to include the project team on task updates. The Staffing tab does allow project updates but requires user to navigate away from the Updates tab.

Is there a way to move the "Update All" cta to the Updates tab in a project?
