Hi All,
I have a query regarding the event subscription version. I’ve noticed that for newly created scenarios, the subscription version defaults to V2.
and for old scenarios it is showing v1,
In this case, do we just need to use the new module from Adobe Workfront to ensure the scenario runs with Subscription Version V2?
Thanks in Advance!

Starting April 10, 2025, all event subscriptions will be v2 by default. So, all watch modules will default to v2.
For more information about the comparison between v1 and v2, upgrade process, and timelines, please refer to the following pages:

Thanks for the response!
So even it is default to V2 version we need to run the below API ?

When the version is v2, no action is required.
For upgrades from v1 to v2, you need to run the PUT call as you mentioned.

Before upgrading, I recommend checking the 'General changes' in the comparison page.

Where do we need to add this new module to upgrade the existing old scenarios modules from v1 to v2?
Also, is it possible to add this to the Developer Tools to be able to update the version from v1 to v2 in the selected module?
Hi @viovi - I don't think Developer Tool will allow the upgrade because the documentation suggests making an API call or use 'Update Events Payload Version' module. I prefer API call because I have not tested what the module does.
However, there is an event subscription event scheduled next month where you can ask questions. Cynthia shared the registration link in the comments on 20/4/25. Please refer this page: Upgrade to Event Subscription v2 workshop? - Adobe Experience League Community - 748106
Personally, I would make an upgrade after this session.
Thank you, Manish!
Yes, I know about the event and do hope that they will provide examples and show step by step how to make conversion of the existing old modules.
