Notifications from Projects Launched by My Fusion Access

I've noticed that since Fusion is linked to my account that it will attach me to the People section within every project launched.

This is overwhelming me with notifications that don't necessarily apply to me.

Any suggestions on how to eliminate this?

By default the creator is part of the projectUsers.

In Fusion you should never use your personal connection to automate. Always create a service account.

- you don't get spammed

- it's clear who took the action (Fusion, or a human)

If you must, then remove yourself from the project users after creating the project.

How do I setup the service account? @sven-ix

A service account is a regular account/license - except it isn't tied to a human. You get IT to create a new user (like, "Workfront Automation" <wfautomation@domain.com>) and give that user Admin rights.

Then, in Fusion, create a connection with the user's credentials.

It works just like it currently does except you have a non-human email address/user that Fusion emulates.

Note: When you win the lottery, the company likely removes your Fusion access which would impact all scenarios that use your personal account. Saves a lot of headache using a "service" account.
