I am trying to migrate the approval process including approval paths, steps and step approvers from the project of one instance to the project of other instance. How it can be done?

i created the approval process from the scratch using JSON module and custom api call with the help of cook book. But unable to figure out how to migrate it from one instance to another.

Hi @AmbiliT_,

You can use out of the box feature called Environment promotion, please go to Setup -> System -> Environment Promotion as long as these instances are linked (lower, higher env, for example preview and production)

Please check the following Screenshot how this can be done:

Once you are on the environment promotion page you can choose what you want to place inside the package for example, business rules, approval processes, custom forms etc... When everything that is needed is added we can save and assemble, wait for assembly to finish, change the status to Testing from Draft and make sure to install that to the environment where you wish to have it.

If this is not possible for example you have two projects, you will have to take all of the details from the approval process and create a new one via the Create a record Adobe Workfront Module in Fusion while defining all of the required fields.

Hopefully this helps.

Hi @IvanBebek-iX

Thank you for your insights. I had tried migration  using fusion and it worked.

I shall try this method as well.
