Quick Wins (Immediate Impact):
1. Automated Project Creation
- Usually, one of the first things I have clients ask me to set up for them when starting a new engagement is this; this can be a major win. Setup can take some time (deciding on templates, creating templates, determining roles/teams to engage, and scheduling), but the result is a lot of excited PMs and a significant amount of time saved.
2. File Management Automation
- This depends on whether you use a DAM service, but it can also be significant. Move final files to DAM and auto tag, etc.
3. Request Queue Enhancements
- Just set this up recently for a client; auto-assign based on request queue combinations (if X and Y are selected, send to A, otherwise send to B). From there, you can add automatic messaging, routing based on PTO, set up designated backups, etc.
My biggest recommendation is to always work in the sandbox, have two copies of your scenarios (one for sandbox, one for prod), and to get a service account set up 🙂 Happy Fusioning!
