Hello - 

 

I wanted to see if anyone in the Community has the AI Assistant turned on in their instance. Have you found it useful? Is there anything to look out for when turning it on?

Actually get it turned on is a bit of a process if you have not already... I made the assumption that Agreement that pops up within the assistant was GenAi Agreement, but that is something you have to fill out separately (outside of Workfront). 

 

I have found it useful though once we got it setup, a few of my favorites:

  1. Find all active projects owned by X
  2. Show all my high priority tasks
  3. Formulas! ie, write me a formula that counts the number of days from the start of the project to the completion of a task - very convenient even if you are familiar with the WF coding format. 
    • Write me text mode that includes the project owner and project condition in one column
    • Write me a formula that counts the number of days from the start of the project to the completion of a task

Some of these you can obviously get through reporting but sometimes its handy to just ask the one thing you need vs fishing through a dashboard. 

Prerequisites to AI Assistant

To enable AI Assistant for your organization, all of the following must apply:

  • Your organization must have migrated to Adobe IMS (Identity Management System)

  • The Adobe Unified Experience must be enabled

  • Your organization must have a Select, Prime, or Ultimate Workfront plan

  • Adobe must have a signed Adobe Gen AI agreement on file

Most of the time, yes! I have only had one recent request that sent me to a native field that did not exist (though it should have).
