👋 Welcome New Workfront Community Members — August 2025

Welcome to all the new members who joined this month! We’re excited to have you in the Adobe Workfront Community🎉. Whether you’re brand new or have been here a while, this space is all about learning, sharing, and connecting with peers who get what you do every day.

In a world where so much is automated and AI-driven, this space is different — it’s built on humans helping humans. Every question asked, every tip shared, every reply left here makes a real difference.

If you’re new, this is your first touchpoint — and we’re truly glad you’re here. Think of this thread as a friendly café table where you can pull up a chair, say hi, and get to know others who “get” what you do. To get started, share:

  • What company and role are you in
  • Which feature you’re using most
  • One area you want to get better at
  • How long you been working with WF
  • How long you been using WF

And give us your answer to this month's Ice Breaker question for all to kick things off:
👉 If you could rename one feature in WF to something more fun, what would you call it?

✨ If you’re already part of the community, jump in too — share a tip, answer a question, or just welcome someone new. Every reply makes this space more valuable for everyone.

We are assigning veteran SMEs in a round-robin fashion, and they will be your primary point of contact for any operational or community-related issues.

Buddies for this month: @sven-ix@doug_den_hoed__atappstore , @daniel_clarke@randyroberts , @skyehansen and @jamesritter

Hi everyone,

I’m Kautuk Sahni, and I am managing the AEM and WF community in Adobe. I’ve been with Adobe for nearly 13 years, starting my journey as a Software Engineer before moving into community management. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting product communities, and I’m truly excited to now work with this amazing group. Outside of work, I’m a big sports enthusiast 🎾 (tennis is my favorite!) and also love cooking and exploring new cuisines. So if you’ve got a favorite recipe, feel free to share — I’m always up for trying something new.

I’m really looking forward to connecting with you all and helping this community grow into an even more engaging, supportive space. Please don’t hesitate to reach out anytime. I’m here to listen, learn, and support.

Hello everyone,

James here. Working as a Multimedia Producer for Caterpillar / Construction Industries - Learning and Innovation Group. We design training for our global sales teams and have just deployed Workfront to manage our training requests and project timelines. So far really liking it. I feel like we could be utilizing more features to better organize. But learning as we go here, I'm sure we will get better at it over time.

Love that Adobe provides this support group of professionals to share best practices and perspectives. Looking forward to connecting further. Please feel free to reach out!

Welcome everyone! I’m Julie Wilson from the Adoption Marketing team. I’m based in Seattle, and I have been at Adobe for over eight years. I manage the Workfront User Group (WUG) program and the Workfront Champion program. Consider joining a WUG chapter. These are peer-led groups where you can connect with product experts, network, and learn from each other.

As for renaming a feature...how about Blueprints becomes Secret Sauce for Speed? 🙂

Hi everyone, I’m Alexis Cascales, working at JAKALA as a Senior Manager in Martech. I’ve been working with Adobe tools for around 10 years, and I started using Workfront 6 months ago, mainly focused on project management and reporting,

I’d like to share a proposal: when Workfront is translated into other languages (for example Spanish), all functionalities are translated. I believe some key functionalities should remain in English as keywords, like Queue or Intake Form, to make documentation search and team alignment more effective 🙂

Hi Alexis,

Welcome to the community! 👋 Great to have someone with your depth of experience across Adobe tools here. Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful suggestion. That’s a really valuable perspective on translations and consistency. For these, we capture product suggestions in the product Ideas: Here. Please feel free to share your ideas in the Ideas section. Looking forward to seeing more of your insights and ideas in the community!

Hi everyone!  I am Christine Smith.  I am a Project Specialist at Freeman.  I equally use a few features in WF such as Project Tasks, Project Tracking and Time Tracking.  Recently, I have started learning Reporting but have not explored much yet.  I am hoping to really expand that usage along with any other beneficial tools.  I have been using WF for a couple of years but really expanded my usage in the last 6 months.  Since I am just learning/exploring more in WF, I am not sure what feature I would rename.  I am thinking (since I am a huge sports fan) that I would rename the Dashboard to something like "Home Plate" or the "End Zone".

@christinesm2 welcome! Love that you’re diving deeper into reporting. It really unlocks so much in Workfront. And I have to say, your idea of renaming Dashboard to “Home Plate” or “End Zone” is such a fun twist :).  Excited to see you explore more features and share your journey here! 🎉

Hi everyone,

I usually live in the analytics world, but I also manage our team’s Workfront space as the central hub for requests across Workspace, Data Collection, BI, and SQL. Because we sit alongside other project management systems, having one place for intake has been a big help, and I am here to learn more from how others approach it.

  • Feature I use most: Intake forms and task structures, since that is how work comes into our queue

  • Area I want to get better at: Building reports that give stakeholders clear visibility without them needing to know Workfront in detail

  • How long I’ve been using WF: A few years, with heavier use in the last 18 months

  • Ice Breaker: I would rename Approvals to Green Light because that is exactly what it feels like when one comes through

Looking forward to hearing how others manage Workfront as a request hub while still staying connected with colleagues who rely on different tools.

@jarrell43 Welcome! Love how you described Workfront as the central hub for requests across analytics and BI, that really highlights its power to simplify intake when teams are juggling multiple tools. Totally with you on reporting, giving stakeholders a clear view without them needing to be Workfront experts is such a balancing act. Excited to hear how others in the community tackle that, too. And I’ve got to say, renaming Approvals to Green Light 💡🚦 is spot on, now I’ll always think of it that way! Looking forward to seeing more of your insights in the Community.
