Task Report with All Projects Name and Status

Hi,

 

I created a task report, grouping it by Project Name and Status, using the same filters and grouping logic as a project report. However, the results are different between the two reports. Could you please help me understand why the task report shows different data even though the filters and groupings match?

Even though use the same kind of Filters and Groupings, The result will obviously different as you are using two different types of reports(Projects, Tasks).

Project report will only show the details related to project, but Task report will show of the tasks and also projects.

    Thank you so much for the response. I was wondering — is there a way to pull all the projects that are appearing in the Project Report? The project count seems to be lower in the Task Report, even though the same filters are applied.

    Are there some projects that have zero tasks? That might be why they're not appearing in the Task Report.

    Hi @kautuk_sahni , Thank you so much for reaching out. I was assigned to something else, so I couldn’t complete the task report. Also, I wasn’t getting the desired results earlier, but I will check again and share the resolution.
